Sorry to disagree, but Collier has never come across to me as anything but a smarmy con artist. He's got all this info on galactic politics but not anything about what they eat for breakfast? Please. Forget for a fact that these people reference constellations and not planets as though the stars we clump together as constellations are actually neighboring each other. "Orion" is not a location, for example, as people with any decent basic astronomy info might know. Somebody's filling someone's head with gibberish. I'd be willing to entertain the notion he was being manipulated, if I thought he believed his own hype, but I don't even get that from him.

The database is nice though, since it gives some sense of a frame of reference for who is spouting what exopolitical tripe de jour. Sorry, I don't buy in to the channelling thing. Its no different than a seance in my view. Too easy to fake, and too big an audience willing to believe and pay for material and "information" not to be taken advantage of. Anytime there's a thing to exploit in this culture we humans will do it in a heartbeat. Its a nice place to find out who is saying what, at least. I can believe in aliens, I can believe in them even being telepathic, I suppose. I don't believe they have nothing better to do than sit around 'beaming' ideas into people's heads though. But, I can see the train of logic that opens the door.
